In the Philippines, which is only 2 to 3 hours behind the east coast of Australia. Your EA works during your business hours, in real time, without night shifts.
How do you choose your EAs?
We recruit from our own community of 120,000+ Filipino remote professionals. Every Workmate then goes through English, skills and personality assessments, live interviews with our team, and background and reference checks. Only a small percentage of applicants make it through.
What does it cost?
A full-time Executive Assistant is $2,890 a month + GST, plus a one-off $997 setup fee + GST. The setup fee covers recruitment, matching and your 10-day handover. The monthly fee covers your dedicated EA, payroll and ongoing management. If you change your mind within 14 days of signing your agreement, the setup fee is fully refunded.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No long-term lock-in. You can cancel with 30 days' notice.
What if my EA isn't the right fit?
We'll rematch you at no cost. Most issues are sorted in the first couple of weeks, which is exactly what the 10-day handover is designed to catch.
How quickly can I start?
Most clients meet their shortlisted EAs within 5 business days. After that, the 10-day handover gets your EA running your week.
Is my data safe?
Every Workmate signs a confidentiality agreement, and access to your accounts is shared through a password manager, so you stay in control and can remove access at any time.
Do I have to manage my EA?
Not like an employee. We handle recruitment, payroll, training and performance. You get a daily handover from your EA, a weekly check-in, and a monthly review with our team.

I started Virtual Workmate five years ago after seeing firsthand how much of a business owner's time gets swallowed up by work they shouldn't still be doing themselves.
I knew there were incredibly capable people in the Philippines who could take that work off their plate. The challenge was never finding someone. It was finding the right person, setting them up properly, and making sure the relationship actually worked long term.

Along the way, I learned that hiring a great person is only half the job. The handover, communication and ongoing support are what make the difference. That's why every Workmate goes through our 10-day handover, with our team staying involved well beyond their first day.
Outside the business, I'm a former MMA champion. The biggest lesson the cage taught me is that preparation beats talent, and it's exactly how we approach every handover.
